Cadenza is a platform for comprehensive reporting and analysis of factual and spatial data. Using Cadenza, all users can search for, analyse and visualise all kinds of data. Cadenza is not just a ready to use software product, but also serves as an integration framework for specific applications: Additional components can be easily integrated. Cadenza unfolds its full potential especially when solutions require a joint and seamless management of numerical and spatial data. The following diagram shows the platform’s functionality and how it integrates with an existing data infrastructure:

Integrated management of all types of data

Every Cadenza-solution is built upon an available data infrastructure, including factual and spatial data or services of a spatial data infrastructure. Depending on the customer’s requirements, disy will either build the complete infrastructure or individually extend an existing one. Cadenza supports different databases and data warehouses from Oracle to PostgreSQL/PostGIS. It is therefore an ideal integration tool for heterogeneous and distributed data. Its graphical user interface allows you to quickly and easily merge technical data, spatial data and digital maps of all types and formats. As a 100 percent pure Java solution, the platform can be installed in any Linux or Windows-based IT environment.

Tailored information delivered to every desk

Cadenza supplies more than a user-friendly search interface: Cadenza Professional supports specialists in complex data search and analysis, while Cadenza Web allows occasional users to create template-based reports with only a few clicks. Cadenza thus enables large organisations to quickly and flexibly create a comprehensive, integrated and open reporting environment – and this is achieved by configuration and without programming. Comprehensive means that administrators can centrally organise information delivery throughout the organisation. They can easily and centrally decide what kind of information and functionality is provided to every desk. Integrated means that we do not distinguish between spatial data and technical data – disy calls this unique approach spatial reporting. Open on the one hand implies that users can quickly and easily respond to new requirements by changing and extending their databases and reports. On the other hand, it means that Cadenza allows users to integrate maps, tables, diagrams and complete reports as web-based services into third-party applications and the overall spatial data infrastructure. Moreover, Cadenza is open for customer-specific functions, e.g. additional organisation-specific components for data management, specially programmed reports or triggering external expert applications. These components can easily be integrated into Cadenza by means of the application framework.
