CEBIT 2018 focus: flexible data analysis and modern reporting for public authorities
Whether it is reporting at public authorities for environmental administration or consumer protection, data analytics for security authorities or the integration of data for implementing large infrastructure and transportation projects: In the case of most technical issues, specialist authorities do not lack data, but simple ways of analysing it. Disy demonstrates at CEBIT how Cadenza can be used to develop and implement modern data management and how relations can be created, displayed and understood using spatial data analyses. This is an important topic, in particular for federal and state authorities. For example, they have to think and act increasingly spatially when investigating criminal offences, balancing interests in the field of tension in agriculture and environmental protection or also in questions of ambient noise or food inspection.
Data analysis, reporting and GIS for federal and state authorities
“We will be represented at CEBIT this year with our own exhibition stand and will be showing what solutions for reporting and data analysis in modern public authorities can look like,” says Disy Managing Director Claus Hofmann. “These solutions are based on Cadenza, the software developed by ourselves for data analytics, reporting and GIS, and which has been awarded the seal of quality Software Made in Germany by the BITMI.”
As Gold Partner and Value Added Reseller for the company Talend, Disy will also be pre-senting the portfolio and solutions concerning the Talend Data Management Platform. Talend is a highly scalable, flexible and powerful open-source solution, which supports the efficient implementation of tasks in the areas of big data, data warehouse and all data inte-gration tasks. By introducing the plug-in “GeoSpatial Integration” for Talend, Disy has also created its own product in the Talend ecosystem, from which especially public authorities, who have to integrate spatial data to their processes and applications, can profit. Disy has quite deliberately placed its exhibition focus for this year on CEBIT. “As provider for data analyses and reporting for public authorities with or without spatial data, we now see our target audience here as more widely represented than, for example, at Intergeo, where we will therefore not be represented as exhibitor this year,” explains Claus Hofmann. Addressing the specific target group of decision-makers from the public sector is particularly interesting for Disy. Thus, Disy is perfectly suited to the “Digital Business & Administration” area at CEBIT, where everything that is required for the digitalisation of the economy and administration is thematically presented.
