Cadenza is a desktop GIS, Web GIS and mobile GIS

Cadenza includes all functions that distinguish a geoinformation system (GIS). In addition, Cadenza offers unique possibilities for analysing attribute data and linking it flexibly with geodata. As a complete GIS platform, Cadenza offers users access via Desktop, Web and mobile. A map designed on the desktop is available immediately in the Web GIS, on the mobile device or as GIS service. Like no other GIS, Cadenza can be used intuitively not only by experts, but also by casual users without prior experience in GIS. Additionally a comprehensive map and layer index with integrated user and rights management allows organisation-wide use. Cadenza works with all common GIS data format, databases and geodata services and relies on the standards of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). With Cadenza you integrate your heterogeneous data landscape easily and without data migration. Therefore, Cadenza is not just a GIS, but more than a GIS.

As a complete GIS, Cadenza wins over users with its unique reporting function

Cadenza includes all functions that distinguish a geoinformation system (GIS). GIS experts can use Cadenza to visualise, edit and analyse geodata. For the digitalisation and recording of specialised geodata such as polygons of areas with their attributes, it offers automatic plausibility checks in order to check the logic of the polygons recorded, as well as selection lists for the structured entry of data attributes. Cadenza has extensive printing and plotting functions for the output of designed maps. It also offers unique possibilities for analysing attribute data and linking it flexibly with geodata. Despite its versatility Cadenza is easy to operate, so it is used on many thousands of workstations for classic GIS tasks.

Cadenza offers different several GIS-clients

There are GIS users who simply want to visualise and print their spatial data on the map, and there are GIS experts who need extensive GIS functions for entering geometries. Naturally all users should work with the same geodata in order to prevent the formation of local "data islands”. In addition, it should be possible to assign the maps professionally, together with the other views of the data such as charts and reports. Therefore, you can use all of Cadenza’s forms of access – the desktop,in the browser or mobile on the tablet. Cadenza services also offer third-party applications access to all data and information views. A map designed on the desktop is available in Web GIS, on the mobile device or as service on request and without additional effort.

Cadenza is optimized for organisation-wide use

The intuitive user interface makes Cadenza a GIS that can be used easily not only by experts, but also by casual users. Cadenza can – like no other GIS – be used continuously for all data organisation-wide. A comprehensive map and layer index and integrated user and rights administration ensure this. The map and layer index is stored once centrally and is available continuously to all clients. With the user management you can tailor the visibility of the layers and maps as well as of the Cadenza functional scope individually to each user - from layperson to expert.

Cadenza is ideal for your Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI)

Instead of its own data formats, Cadenza works with all common GIS data formats, databases and geodata services and relies on the open, standardised formats and services of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This ensures that users remain independent, for they can use Cadenza to combine nearly any data in a single GIS. Cadenza can also be combined with other, already-present GIS solutions and forms an ideal component of a spatial data infrastructure (SDI). In the end, this means that with Cadenza you integrate your heterogeneous data landscape easily and without data migration. Still, Cadenza remains a central and easy-to-administer GIS for desktop, Web or as mobile app in any constellation.
