Spatial Analysis & Reporting for everyone

An organisation's employees, but also the public, need current data. Regardless of whether professional user, engineer, casual user or decision-taker: What counts is to get a quick overview of the current situation. With Cadenza Web we have created the Web-based counterpart to Cadenza Desktop. The clue is that all content created using Cadenza Desktop can be made available immediately in the Web.

More than a modern Web GIS

Many of our customer use Cadenza Web as a modern Web GIS as it offers all typical Web-GIS functions: Zooming and panning, as well as measurement, showing and hiding layers, display and design of object information, loading of layers into a map and so much more. In addition, functions for editing geometries and attribute data and the use of specialised land registers – naturally only for authorised users. Cadenza Web does not define its own geodata format; instead it supports all common formats such as Shapefile, DXF and also map layers that come directly from a geodata database (Oracle Locator/Spatial or PostgreSQL/PostGIS) as well as ESRI’s ArcGIS server. Naturally it is also possible to incorporate geodata services such as WMS, WMTS and WFS. For many of our customers, Cadenza Web serves as a central frontend to their spatial data infrastructure and for INSPIRE.

More than an organisation-wide information system

The spatial visualisation and processing of data alone is not sufficient for many questions. In accordance with our philosophy of regarding geo- and attribute data in integrated fashion, Cadenza Web is more than an organisation-wide information system. Not just maps, but also all research forms, charts and reports that were created with Cadenza Desktop can be called up directly with Cadenza Web. Sorted by layer and prepared graphically, an organisation's data is available via a state-of-the-art Web interface at the touch of a button - and for all employees, provided they have the proper access rights. Data required for decision taking is thus just a few clicks away, it can be filtered further and displayed in different forms. And this regardless of whether the items in question are current analyses for the supervisor, the fulfilment of reporting duties of the urgently needed new measurement series for the department next door. This increases productivity, saves time for the work you actually need to do and ensure the quick information flow within an organisation - especially in times of reduced personnel and increasing requirements.

More than simple data access with respect to open data

Whether legal requirements from INSPIRE, the environmental law, other guidelines or just the will to manage for transparent handling of information with respect to open data: A lot of data have to be made accessible to the public. Cadenza Web is the ideal tool for publishing selected data and for presenting charts and maps to the public. All functions can be provided via Cadenza Web so that users can assemble the data they need by themselves or simply call up the finished charts, maps and reports.
