Grow together – cultivate knowledge: Guilds and tribes
Successful work assumes that there is professional exchange, a technological vision, and a constant expansion of knowledge.
So that this is the case every day, colleagues in Consulting & Solution, where customer projects are controlled, and in Development work together as teams to prepare knowledge. Software development has formed cross-team guilds. The members of a guild come from the same technical domain and offer support for all topics that relate to their area of knowledge. They distribute knowledge and evaluate new technologies and procedures, for example, with regard to software quality, GIS, and UX.
In solution, so-called “tribes” have formed analogous to the guilds; in these, members regard themselves as “master craftspeople.” From databases to GDI to operation, knowledge is prepared and expanded, and best practices, standards, and conventions bundled.
