Specialised data considered in terms of its spatial context creates potential for entirely new perspectives and opportunities thanks to the information obtained from this approach. Disy helps you bundle your existing data intelligently, enrich it with explicit spatial references or search for additional spatial data, which is then integrated into appropriate databases, so that the data can be visualised on maps. It is thus possible to correlate specialised data and space by means of geocoding, integration of all official or commercial spatial data and spatial services. Gain new spatially based insights giving you the context to make better, more informed decisions.
Implementation of geocoding and routing solutions
We enrich your data with explicit spatial references and implement geocoding and routing solutions for you. One of our key strengths is the ability to combine geocoded data and other spatial data, such as catchment areas, risk areas, etc. We offer this as a service or help you carry out spatial ad-hoc analyses with Cadenza. It is possible to identify coordinates down to the level of house numbers and create georeferenced data based on your address data. Moreover, we check your data in terms of completeness, accuracy and duplication. For this area, we rely on the database technologies of our partners Oracle and SAP.
For example, in the Routing area, you can show the routes to your branch offices, facilities or cultivated agricultural areas on maps and provide additional information, such as details on building features and routes. Regardless of whether you have to calculate the shortest route or catchment areas, or want to visualise route networks – we put your specialised data in the limelight. One of our special strengths continues to be the calculation and visualisation of complex scenarios.
Supplier of spatial data and services: We provide you with an extensive overview
If you need additional spatial data, we will provide you with a clear market overview and advise you with respect to the selection of spatial data and services that meet your requirements. Depending on the task, it is beneficial to use public and commercial data or official data, for example, provided by the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG). OpenStreetMap data (OSM) are available as public data, for example. Major commercial data providers include Here, GfK or DDS. The company Here, for instance, provides global data in the field of navigation.
When it comes to GPS tracking, we integrate data and correlate it with existing corporate data. Either way – we will help you select and obtain the data you need.
Integration of spatial services is offered by different providers such as Google, Hexagon, CartoDB or Mapbox. Disy will advise you on the services offered. Together with your team of experts, we will assess the benefits of data integration. As a full service provider, we assist you in integrating these spatial services into your databases and processes.
Using OSM data
OSM is the most dynamic and current spatial database currently available on the market. We know the OSM content and tools and help you use them for your purposes. We support you with the installation and configuration of OSM tools. In addition, we help you develop OSM map services. We show you how to automatically and continuously extract vectorial spatial layers from the current OSM database. Moreover, we will create map styles that fit your needs.
We also help you integrate new data and services into your IT landscape and ensure seamless access to your data records throughout your organisation or via a web portal or service.
Create spatial data infrastructure according to INSPIRE
The properties of spatial data infrastructures for the publication and forwarding of data are specified precisely by law. If you are planning external data exchange to fulfil legal specifications, we will provide experts to accompany you. Here, we consider open interfaces and the adherence to specifications such as INSPIRE and the spatial data access law (GeoZG) as well as the OGC standards (WMS, WMTS, WFS, WPS etc.). We can also help you with optimal solutions for the management of metadata about your data and services.
Our experts are familiar with the current state of the laws and know how to interpret and implement these for your project, including the specifications of the OGC, INSPIRE and ISO standards. Moreover, Disy is a member of the OGC and is involved in the development of the OGC standards proving special expertise in this field.
