Would you like to try out new activities, but you don’t have time to organize them? Just suggest them for our Moving Minds program. Every year, all employees can enter as many new ideas as they want for workshops, excursions, and other activities. The ten favorite ideas will be put into practice – organized and paid for by Disy. Employees only invest their free time.

There’s something for everyone. Here's a small selection: Outdoor activities such as mushroom-collecting hikes, hand-lettering workshops and forging courses, driver safety training or a seminar on how to produce your own vegan cheese. We guarantee you won’t be bored.

The Disy Value Account offers you plenty of flexibility. It is an opportunity to save a part of your salary, overtime or vacation to redeem again later as paid leisure time, free of tax and social insurance contributions.

When it comes to payment conversion, there’s even more at Disy. In addition to your gross salary, you can also negotiate earmarked benefits. We deduct the agreed amount from your gross salary which had previously been raised especially for this purpose – and you save the taxes and social insurance contributions for the respective offer.


The following negotiable benefits are included in salary optimization:

- Using the JobTicket, you can travel in and around Karlsruhe using public transport at a reduced price – of course, not only to work.

- Anyone who prefers a bicycle, or an e-bike can save real money by paying for the new vehicle in installments using the JobRad model.

- Anyone driving their car to work can receive a mileage allowance as additional benefit.

- Kindergartens in Karlsruhe are fee-based, but we are able to support you financially with childcare as part of your additional benefits.

- An additional benefit is the employee voucher which you can agree individually and redeem at over 400 places in Karlsruhe alone.

Fit in your lunch break? Anyone who enjoys sports to help them relax can make use of our weekly in-house fitness program by our trainer Falko. Whether you’re a couch potato or already a bit fitter – this will ensure the physical activity needed to balance your desk job. The health of our employees is important to us in other ways too. There is free fruit throughout the office building, height-adjustable desks wherever required, and the aim of making your workplace as comfortable as possible.

Particularly attractive is the supplemental health insurance which we organize for all employees at the end of their trial period. This makes eyeglasses, dentures and co. much cheaper for you (and your family). These insurance costs are completely covered by Disy.

This is one working day which is used for professional training. But what you do exactly is pretty much left up to you. Whoever works together, plays together. It is important to us that we are also able to relax with each other and talk about things other than work in a comfortable atmosphere. What is more suitable for this than our regular events? Along with our wonderful Christmas celebrations and the roaring summer parties by the lake, we also organize other events with pleasure and attention to detail. In addition, every two months, there is an informal afterwork event to which you can simply turn up spontaneously if you feel like a relaxed chat and an evening drink.

By the way, for all fans of music, there is the Disy band AC/Disy, which practices regularly and performs their repertoire of songs at our events. New faces are always welcome here!

Family-friendly work

Sometimes it is difficult to juggle work and everything else in life, not least if you have a family. Of course, we are aware of that, and try to give our employees as much freedom as possible. We don’t have any core working hours and many of our employees make use of the opportunity to work from home. And if there’s no other option, you can bring your child to work with you occasionally and let them play in Disy’s own games room with table soccer, consoles and toys.

Working at Disy brings along many smaller and larger comforts. Of course, we can talk about that a lot here. But this is clearer to see with real insights into everyday working life and the things that move us and our colleagues. In our Career blog, we regularly report about the things we are doing – and why. It’s a good opportunity to get to know us better!
